The Story of Damen, Morning

The sun once again rose over the frozen landscape. As I Laid in my bed I could see my breath, in the cold room. Slowly, and with great effort I picked myself out of bed and began to dress. Still stiff from the cold night, and the wolves attack, I was still in a great deal of pain.  Eventually, and delicately I clipped on my armour, before putting on my helmet, finally I concealed my armour with a large, expensive robe. Reaching deep into my backpack I carefully withdrew my two, faithful daggers, and placed them in their sheath. Carefully I tightened my robe in place with my enchanted belt, and gently placed my amulet around his neck.

Still rather chilly, I withdrew my especially enchanted ‘ring of warming’. The ring uses a combination of fire damage, fire resistance, health regeneration and frost damage to warm and heal the user. This unique ring has been created from my years of research into ancient spells and the magic of dead spriggans, I managed to purchase (along with their souls). Sighing I mumbled thank goodness for Necromancy.

However, the great power of this ring could do great damage in the wrong hands, as I did not know this strange land, I must keep the ring safe, and out of the hands of others. Carefully I pierced open a loose floorboard, and hide it there. To keep it extra safe I covered it with my cloak of invincibility.

With the thought of the ring being safe in my mind, I proceeded to leave the bar, and to start my quest to find work. Failing that I would need to find some other way to ‘acquire’ money…
