Hey everybody I'm shadowthief and I'm going to be your host for Diary of an Assassin. This is the podcasts first episode and it is simply going to be a dry run to see what you all think. I will be introducing myself and my characters stats and I will be doing a simple and straightforward quest as well as the Fort of the week. Every week you'll join me in exploring a new fort or cave. If all goes well, in episode two I will add a listeners section where I answer your questions I get in the forum personally and put them on the podcast or barring too many questions I answer them here. UPDATE: Episode one IS recorded int he process of being edited but the file is HUGE, I'm going to yank Hexers chain and see if he wants me to try and zip this file or compress it or something cause if i dont this file will be undownloadable or even if someone downloads it it might not be worth the effort anyways I will update soon

Yeah I know, but I want this podcast to be enjoyable and quick to download of course if people stream it when we get the proper setup going it wont be so bad I dont know its like 11am in England so hexer is in class right now, I think.

Who knows with the colleges in england? Ive been analyzing and trimming the data waves for the last hour frame by frame and so far at 2:30 secs into it Ive shaved a couple megs and a minute or two so I should make progress by...8 am lol.

Must be damn hard work, that, working on it to shorten it. I'll be able to spread word about it on other forums, anyway when its done

That would be great if we get good reception here. I dont know who well this will go over since its a dry run and I did the Corruption in the imperial city as a test quest which is bland and straightforward but with reasonably good information times places directions etc. Plus I did Fort Felecia which is a goblin fort northeast as the Fort of the Week...I have no idea how itll go.

Episode one IS now offically Recorded and Edited. The final file size 72.33 MB in .wav format which is what I will be offering it in since it can be played in almost every media player available, unlike mp3 which is sometimes not playable without upgrades such as nero. I hope you all enjoy it as it is 7 hours and 47 mins worth of editing and recording time please post your comments after youve listened. As soon as I get in touch with Hexer I will make it available.
