Gray Fox/Boots of Springheel Jak Glitch?

i have definitely fenced enough gold, i have around 1400 fenced, and it's still in my current quests menu (not completed quests). it just won't let me advance.

i've kinda given up on the thought. if i really decide i need to complete the thieves guild i just plan on creating a new character and doing it....but there's only one quest left so i dunno. ah well

didn't work, gone to the basement, searched everything, waited, don't know what to do....

i did go to jakben's private quarters and found a family geneology thing that it said to show gray fox...but when i go to him it still says the same thing

in my current quests it says "i learned that the gray fox is not immortal. the gray cowl of nocturnal has been passed from mastser thief to master thief for close to 300 years now. the original thief stole it from Nocturnal is long dead. So who is the current gray fox?" not quite sure what to do, hehe.

well im now the grey fox and you will e once youve cleared all the thieves guild missions

before that the grey fox is the head of the thieves guild and the the gray cowl of nocturnal is his helmet that you get as a reward once youve become the master

ill try going to the basement while wearing it and see if that makes a difference and then post here if it does!

ps but from elandir's tips im not sure that has much to do with it to be honest

Do you have to be level 10 to drop down from well n not get hurt with high acrobatic skills n not have boots on? and whats the number of acrobatic skills you need to drop down n not get hurt as much.
