Wouldn't it be great if they made an elder scrolls online game?

I once thought so.
But then I realised, I probably wouldn't want to play with most of the people you'd find. Case in point: Oblivion general in the TES forums. And thats probably not the worst.
Also, can you imagine "You..... You are the one sent to us to save us from this terrible suffering. The divines foresaw the arrival of one special person of unknown birth........ Wait...... Who are them people? Yeah, that legion of people from different races all of equally unknown birth? Hm. We're doomed."
Edit: And before you suggest the idea of having a LAN thing, where you and your friends play together in something like a Children of Mana 3 (a la SNES RPG with a team helping you) I must say that solution is not a solution, as you would depend on each person with you being free when you are.
And willing to play the game, too.
What i'd be slightly interested in is if there was an arena type minigame where you could load your character against your enemies. But some might argue that the flaw with that is that people who uber their characters would ruin the fun.
Plus, the fact that characters being at different levels.
And the point of having preloaded characters of set skills doesn't work either, because then its not your character, and its trying to make a fighter game of an RPG game.
