I got the 360 for Oblivion. Now I have cleared the game, gotten the 1000 achievements of the game.

For backwards compatibility, I got Pro Evolution 5, or Winning eleven 9 to some. But I am seldom in the mood for that after about six master league matches.

So, the search for the next game is fast approaching. I see the game Timeshift looks good, and I expect it early to mid May. But, obviously, I do not want to wait for that to get a new game.

So, i'll be considering other games. At the moment, I have ruled out Condemned and Gun even though I am confident they are good games, I feel they will be shortlived.

I am considering Perfect Dark Zero. I loved the N64 rendition. So, PDZ is a maybe.

Other alternatives are GRAW and COD 2. Though i'm not sure if i'll want to get these games as they seem more the type i'll play a few hours, and might leave alone for a few days. Though i'd like to hear people who have these games give recommendations.

So then, looking back at the xbox games that are compatible. I'm considering Ninja Gaiden Black, as I only played the demo of the earlier version.

I'm also considering KOTOR, which I got rather far in earlier, and enjoyed.

Oh, and one last 360 game that warrants scrutiny is Farcry.

What have you fellow forumers done since Oblivion? Or even, what have you done to pass time till Oblivion that you could recommend?

I don't even play oblivion anymore just because that damn clacius vile quest keeps freezing up and it's pissing me off! I'm gonna wait until they put a patch out on it.

Some excellent games I own are:

DOA 4, NFS Most wanted, Call of Duty2, and Fight Night R3.

I've heard many good things about GRAW and Tomb Raider Legend. I might check those out. But what I'm looking forward to now is Gears Of War and Saint's Row.

Fable is a good RPG and it's real cheap $20

Fable is ok, I cleared it though. Gears of War is something i'm looking forward to too, but thats not out for ages.

COD2, GRAW and PDZ seem to be the best options. I just found out Timeshift has been put back a number of months (new publisher, I believe.)

Call of Duty 2 is an excellent FPS. Awsome graphics and some of the most realistic war simulation I have ever seen. I take that back, it is the best war sim I've ever seen.

I've heard that PDZ wasn't that great, but then again it has COD2 as competition. Plus it doesn't compete w/ the original verision on the N64.

If you like fighting games DOA4 is great. Excellent graphics with wonderful women(bouncy boobs).

If TR Legend is anything like the original games then I will definetly buy that one.

By the way...have you done any of the daedric quests? I can't get past the clacius vile quest located just west of imperial city. The damn game freezes every time I activate the shrine for the final time. I haven't gotten any real options to fix it.

I did the one for Azura for the main quest, but I guess thats a reason to try with one of my original characters and hope I don't get that falling through cells thing. Though I suppose when i'm out of the prison it will not matter. I guess the daedric quests are something to prolong my gaming of it.

As for DOA 4, well, my friend and I will probably be rarely playing each other in it, so i'd want one i'd get a solid one player out of.

COD2 seems like it can offer that. I imagine the game takes a long time to clear, too which makes me consider it even more.

COD2 Definetly...but what I've seen so far from you is that you love the achivements and this game has some of the hardest ones ever...BEATING THE WHOLE GAME ON THE HARDEST SETTING. Almost as bad as playing HALO on legendary setting! ALMOST. Plus it's single player which means you're on your own.
MUST OWN 100%

And if you like arcade style racing games NFS Most Wanted is awsome. I love the customization of the cars and the added cop feature which makes for hours and hours of fun. Great graphics too!

I really do like achievements, indeed. And from the sounds of it, COD2 will be my next purchase. I like the sound of NFS, too, and will see if I can't get a playtest of it at the local GameStop...

Thanks Smile

NFS is a definete especially if you liked any of the original games. Will give you plenty of hours of gameplay and the replay value is high. Great multiplayer game too.

I wonder, though. Is NFS better than Burnout Revenge?

That all depends on your gaming interests. Burnout seems more destructive value than racing value. NFS is definetly more pimp my ride racing value w/ less destructive value. But something I absolutly love about the game is when you're running from the cops and you ram through a road block the game goes into a slow motion cinematic cam which looks absolutly amazing on the 360. And yes you can destroy the hell out of the cops...but unfortunatly cannot be the cops. Only downside about the game.

How long did it take you to clear COD2, if you have cleared it, and if not, how long have you been playing and how far into it are you? 27 missions, am I right?

I've beaten it on every level and it took me about three months of solid playing.

Fifa will never be as good as Pro Evolution in terms of football games.
