L Laughing OLO Laughing LOLOL Laughing .... no pros man, there just arnt any. My guy was black and when he got all infected he turned into some pale white guy and I swear to god it's pathetic. It's annoying only being able to go out at night. But... I guess its pretty funny to just feed on people and then punch em off their beds. But you can only feed if they're sleeping, ya can't sneak up on them like I hoped.

You can go in the daylight if you drink enough blood, but there's not really a good reason to become a vampire unless you just want a change of pace.

well i decided to be one just for the heck of it. i got plus 5 to all attributes, and since i was a dark elf any way, the weakness to fire hardly affects me. if you dont feed for a couple of days, you get new spells and more pluses on your attributes, but your personality takes a plunge and you are more vulnerablr to fire.

Yeah on the fourth day w/ out feeding you become a full out vamp. I think you get a new spell on each of the four days. I plan on becoming one towards the end of my game mabey around the dark brotherhood quests. Hell yeah a vampire assasin. I like the sound of that!

i'd prefer the werewolf one like in bloodmoon. vamps don't interest me ( i tried once vapire - the masquerade, but vamps simply don't tickle me ). a pity there's no wolfie, but maybe yet another expansion pack does it.

This guy helped me out understand some stuff by writing this...

So you've chosen to become an evil bloodsucking fiend? No, you're not becoming your ex-girlfriend, you're becoming a vampire!

Levels of Vampirism (check under active effects tab):

1. 0%: You suck. Go get Porphyric Haemophelia in the Sewers beneath the Bloodworks and sleep for 3 days.
2. 25% Weakling--but useful because... SUNLIGHT DOES NOT HURT YOU AT 25% VAMPRISM.
3. 50% to 75%: Fun powers! Stay out of the sun
4. 100%: UBER. Most NPC's hate you, and you're going to need SPF 100000 sunblock.

Use Vampirism to your advantage--obviously, 100% Vamp is great for dungeon grinding. When you need to turn in quests and sell loot, though, you'll want to be a bit more attractive and a bit less flammable. Go feed and drop back to 25% Vamp.

Tip 1: Quick Travel to pass time.
So you need to shop--but when you feed in the middle of the night and sleep until morning, often you'll wake up at 50% Vamp again. This will defeat the whole purpose of feeding, since you'll burn up in the sun.

After feeding, don't sleep--just Quick Travel to the nearest town and come back. This should waste a few hours, and since you're 25% Vamp, sunlight won't kill you. When you get back, NPC's will be awake and the shops will be open.

DO NOT SLEEP until you are done with all your travelling, shopping, and talking. Once you're ready to go hunting, hit the sack and vamp up.

Tip 2: Quest NPC's still like you
Important quest NPC's will still talk to you, regardless of Vamp level.

Tip 3: Rogues & the Dark Brotherhood
Vampirism is very well suited to rogue type classes, and the DB quests really fit in well with being a Vamp. The quest rewards are excellent.

Tip 4: Daylight lasts from 6AM to 8PM--burn baby, burn!

Tip 5: Bandit Dungeons:
Make mental notes of the bandit-style dungeons in the world. If the sun's coming up and you're starting to smoke, go to the nearest bandit dungeon and clear it. Sleep the rest of the day away in their beds.

Tip 6: Worst Case Scenario: 2 minutes = 1 hour
Ah misery, you just cleared a dungeon, you're 100% Vamp, and it's 6AM. What the heck are you going to do? Well 2 minutes of real life time = 1 hour of game time. Go clean your apartment or cook some Mac & Cheese, because you've got 28 minutes to waste.

Crowhaven is a good place to go if you haven't been there yet. Its North of Anvil. Ask the Grand Champion of the Arena if you haven't talked to him. Its the one about finding evidence of his lineage.
