Alright, so I did the quest for the Gray Prince, proved he was half vampire, made him sad and suicidal and all. After that I started working my way up to Grand Champion for the Arena. When I finally got to the Gray Prince, he just stood in the middle of the arena. When I talked to him he just said that he wanted me to kill him, he didn't even put up a fight.

I'm glad of the free kill, but when I killed him, it counted as a murder. So that got me thinking, is there something else I can do with him?

Any answers and input would be much appreciated

ive just done his quest and he taught me agility and blunt and blade moves and stuff, and im about to challenge him for his title, ill let you know what happens...

I've done that quest and become grand champion but when i killed him it didn't count as murder so i don't know whats happened on game*

* you using pc or xbox version cause i have xbox.

you could always try reloading and killing him again

The Grey Prince quest essentially takes the fight out of him. If you don't do the quest, he'll fight you like a whirlwind, just like all the other arena quests. However, once you've done his quest, he wants you to kill him, so he just runs into the middle of the arena and waits for you to do him in.

It counts as murder, becuase he is not "hostile" to you and hasn't attacked you. It's just a glitch in the way the game determines whether a death is a murder or not. It won't affect your game, though I'm unsure if it shows up beside your murder stat.

And anyway even if it does, it just means you get to do the Dark Brotherhood quests.

You don't get a bounty for killing the Gray Prince. The Dark Brotherhood do ask you to join them.

I wasn't worried about the murder (I wanted to join the dark brotherhood anyway) so much as I was just wondering if there was something else I should do. Thanks for clearing this up

No worries. The armour you get off him is pretty good. Probably better than whatever you are using now.

i did the quest and klled him in the arena. no murder, and i got some cool stuff, but an incredibly annoying "adoring fan"!

I thought he'd be useful to bring around, you know. Help out in battles. But all he does is flee. And killed a few times. But that doesn't stop him. Oh, no. The adoration preserves his life. Though you can constantly get a few gold off him when he dies

It's simply mean what dark brotherhood is gonna recruit you now, it dosen't affect anythingelse...

I just did it the hard way. Was more fun, though a little dissappointing to hear I missed out on a quest doing it

lol you get am easy kill, gr8 kit, plus when youve done his quest he teaches you "new moves" which means you get a permanent plus 3 to agility, acrobatics, blade, and marksmanship
