I don't have much at all. I think I have about 200 gold. I guess you could join the Arena. At 100 gold per match, I think it is, thats pretty good.

Most of the mage quests have you in caves against necromancers and such, and they have excellent weapons / armor. Just keep going back to collect it all and sell it

Alternatively, join any guild, roam the guild hall and take everything you can, then go sell it. Do this in every town and you will get quite a bit of gold.

I've made some money making potions. Though I suppose that's easier if you've at least some skill in Alchemy.

Making potions is a pretty good way for me to get cash. I made loads of potions that retore fatigue (I didn't really need all of them). I found an Alchemy shop and went in to buy a new pestle. once I found out the going price for some of my concoctions, I was a rich man.

yeah, selling potions is nice. for restore fatique you get roughly 20 or 30 bucks. for status restoration you can get up to 50.

Ok, just to expand a little on what people are saying about potions, here comes the science. Quicksave, then go into random people's houses. Easiest if doors are unlocked.

Grab all the food stuffs you can! Everything! Then leave the house and make some potions. As they say, restore fatigue potions are the easiest as they just require food.

Anyway, make potions with your stolen potions goods. The potions you make however, do not show up as stolen. Nobody really cares that all their food is missing, and you end up with about a grand worth of potions! Everybodies happy!

Also, when wandering in the wilderness, harvest from as many plants and mushrooms as possible. The stuff takes up almost no space in your inventory, and as everyone says, you can make squillions of gold.

I found out something that works, but its kind of cheap and makes the game to easy, but those out there that r desperate. there is a glich, all u hav to do is find a man named dorian in the talos plaza in the imperial city. bring him into the second room of his house if he isnt already and block the door so he cant leave, then bribe him all u can, then kill him. dont take all, just keep clicking on the gold. it may go down alittle but not all the way, u can just keep clicking on the gold and it wont run out. my friend tried it and he got 35k in 5 mins. personally i go to ruins and caves and raid them. Smile

I have over $50,000. First you need to level up to about 15 or more, then run up and down the stretch of road from Bravil to Leyawin. The higher your level the higher all the bandits are that roam that area. Each bandit will have elven, mitril, glass, and ebony items on them. Take it to A Fighting Chance in the Market District imperial city.

Why not just dungeon crawl and do quests and stuff. That's how I got mad cash. Though admitedly, my bank balance is running dry atm with only 36000gp.
