I’m pissed. I just tried to pre-order 2 copies of Oblivion from Amazon and was promptly told because I’m overseas (Vicenza Italy) and shipping to an APO address they can not complete the order.

What the hell is up with that? Just cause I’m in the military means I don’t get to play the as of yet most celebrated RPG of the decade?!

Does any one have a solution?

I’m seriously torked over this one. Evil or Very Mad

There are a couple of possibilities. One is have it shipped to a relative who forwards it to you (ask them -the relative about it first). No relatives? Then, ask the USO or the Red Cross if they can/will do it for you because of your situation. Last, check with Gamestop, Barnes & Noble or some of the others and see about buying it through them and tell Amazon... Actually, you might want to do that last one first. (Sorry, it's early and I'm still nursing my first cup of coffee.)

Amazon made that decision to not ship to APO, AP and FPO addresses about 3 years ago due to the high number of piracy issues that occur overseas. I have boycotted spending my money at Amazon and just order my games from ebgames.com.
