Hi! I would really appreciate your help with this problem.
I don't really know what a computer's specs are [please don't laugh too hard], so I'll just tell you the things I saw to list in the "HOW TO GET HELP" topic. My processor is Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, T5450 @ 1.66GHz. My memory is 3070MB RAM. I don't know where to find the name of my sound card, but audio really isn't the problem. My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS, but my computer says there are "No problems found." on the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window. I have an HP laptop that is running Windows Vista and I have installed the Shivering Isles expansion.
I have encountered a bug where occasionally the cross-hair icon will not turn red to inform me that an action is considered illegal. In addition, some objects in my inventory will not be flagged as stolen when they should be, some objects will show that I have a lesser number than I actually do and some objects will show that I have a greater number than I actually do. Sometimes duplicate objects will be separated into two listings, as if one was stolen, even if neither is. While this doesn't really prevent me from playing the game [that I am aware of] it is REALLY annoying because my character's main line of work is quests from the Thieves Guild.
I recently completed the Hackdirt quest, and I read on a few websites that sometimes people have issues with the icon not turning red while in Hackdirt. I think that is when my problem started, but it hasn't gone away! If anyone has experienced these issues, or knows how to fix them, I would greatly appreciate your help.
I searched for topics that could help all ready but couldn't find anything, so I'm sorry if I missed something. If I did miss a thread with an answer all ready, please post a link to it. Thank you so much for your time!
